Glenorchy City Council
The Glenorchy Community Fund (GCF)was set up to raise money for the provision of grants to community organisations for projects that benefit the people of the City of Glenorchy. The GCF provides a growing source of financial support to not-for-profit groups and organisations for worthy projects that will benefit and strengthen the community of Glenorchy.
Hobart City Council
The City of Hobart offers specific grant programs for events, community services and environmental activities. There are 17 Grant Programs available in three streams: Quick Response grants, which are open all year round, and two competitive grant streams, open annually in June, and biannually in February and August. The areas they cover include Creative Hobart, Community, Events, Marketing, Christmas, Venue Support Waste Reduction and Urban Sustainability.

The Kingborough Council provides funding to community groups through its Community Grants Program. Grants are available to Kingborough based, not for profit organisations for projects that provide a benefit within the local community. The Community Grants Program supports activities and initiatives such as community health and well-being, arts and culture, community development, heritage and history, sport and recreation; festivals and events, environmental projects and sustainable living.
