Expressions of Interest are invited from individuals interested in being considered for appointment to the Board of Trustees of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG).

The Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery Act 2017 provides for a skills based board and states that members collectively have specific expertise, qualifications or experience in, or expert knowledge of, specific areas outlined in the Act.

Applications for this vacancy are encouraged from Aboriginal people with skills, qualifications, knowledge, or experience in Aboriginal heritage management, cultural values presentation and interpretation, as well as experience in leadership and governance.​

In accordance with the State Government’s Women on Boards Strategy 2020-2025, women are also strongly encouraged to submit an application for this position.
