I was delighted to attend an advanced screening of the first two episodes of Rosehaven Season Three tonight, alongside the production’s cast, crew and other members of the Tasmanian screen industry.

Shot entirely in Tasmania, the Hodgman Liberal Government through Screen Tasmania invested $500 000 in Rosehaven Season Three, building on the $950 000 we invested in the first two seasons.

This investment helped the Season Three production to employ more than 50 local cast and crew, and it is expected it will inject $2 million into the Tasmanian economy.

The loveable comedy series continues to follow best friends Daniel (Luke McGregor) and Emma (Celia Pacquola) as they tackle chaotic situations and navigate the quirks of small-town life as enterprising real estate agents.

The start of this new season is as entertaining as ever and I look forward to enjoying the remaining episodes in this series when they are screened in the coming weeks.
